في عمله الخطوط المجنونة، يواصل ياسين بالبزيوي اشتغالًا بدأه منذ سنوات حول شخصيات مقنّعة، ومشاهد غرائبية، ووضعيات تجمع بين الطرافة والالتباس. وقد أُنجز هذا العمل في عين المكان، واتخذ موقعه في فضاء عبور داخل المتحف، بين الطابق الأرضي والطابق الأول، وهو فضاء انتقالي يستقر فيه النظر بقدر ما يعبره.
In Crazy Lines, Yassine Balbzioui expands a long-standing exploration of masked figures, absurd situations, and ambiguous narratives. Conceived specifically for the site, the installation unfolds along the museum’s staircase—an in-between space where movement and attention intersect.
تجمع هذه التركيبة بين جدارية، ولوحات زيتية على القماش، وإطار نحتي، في تكوين كثيف يستحضر فكرة الديكور والمشهدية. فاللوحة تتجاوز إطارها لتغزو الفضاء المحيط، موسِّعة المجال السردي، وواضعةً الزائر في موقع قريب من موقع المتفرج في المسرح.
Combining mural painting, oil works on canvas, and a sculptural framing, the piece operates like a theatrical setting. Images overflow their supports, extending into the architectural space and immersing the viewer in a constructed visual world. The visitor becomes both passerby and observer, caught between progression and pause.
ويظهر هنا القناع الفينيسي، وهو عنصر متكرر في ممارسة الفنان، بوصفه ثابتًا بصريًا أكثر منه رمزًا قابلاً للتأويل. فهو يحيل إلى إنسانية مُتقمَّصة، متخفّية، وأحيانًا كاريكاتورية، حيث تبدو الشخصيات سجينة أدوارها الخاصة. وتشكل مجمل الصور والمواقف عالمًا محكم البناء، منغلقًا على ذاته عن قصد، تحركه روح الدعابة وتوتراته الداخلية.
The mask, a recurring presence in Balbzioui’s work, functions less as a symbol than as a formal and narrative anchor. It suggests staged identities and exaggerated behaviors, where figures appear locked into roles they endlessly perform. Humor coexists with tension, producing a closed yet coherent universe governed by its own internal logic.
لا تختبر الخطوط المجنونة لياسين بالبزيوي المكان، بل تنسج معه علاقة دقيقة وسلسة، تحترم معماره وإيقاعه، وتواكب حركة الزائر الطبيعية. وهكذا يتحول فضاء العبور إلى فضاء مأهول، يعبره الزائر وفي الآن نفسه يدعوه إلى التوقف وتأمل التفاصيل. إن تنوّع المواد ودقة التركيب يعكسان عملًا ناضجًا، تتآلف فيه العناصر بانسجام، مع تقليص مساحة الصدفة، وتفضيل العرض المسرحي على الفوضى.
Rather than challenging the architecture, Crazy Lines aligns itself with the rhythm of the space. The installation accompanies the ascent, transforming a transitional zone into a place of attention and detail. Through the careful orchestration of materials and imagery, the work asserts control and precision, privileging composition and display over spontaneity or disorder.
